Four Fun Games for a Bridal Shower
Leading up to the main even there are a few parties or get togethers that are traditionally held including the bachelorette party and the bridal shower. Usually the first is when girls get together for an evening, have a few drinks and giggles and celebrate being single for just a little while longer, and the Bridal shower is more of calmer event with women of all ages invited. The problem is with a bridal shower sometimes they are a little too calm and collected and guests find it difficult to talk and relax when they do not know each other. So here are some ideas that will make your bridal shower less traditional but a lot of fun.
A bridal makeover with a difference! Create a theme for the makeover disco, rock, the 70s and so on. Ask guests to bring one thing to add to the makeover, clothing, accessory or make-up, and all of you can have a laugh as you make the blushing bride look…beautiful?
Everyone loves a sing song, so why not hire or borrow a karaoke machine. You can have the party at a house or at a bar and theme the chosen songs around the bride and the upcoming wedding. Guests can mix up and sing along with each other, they will quickly get over the not knowing each other part.
Organize a scavenger hunt! Depending on how many are coming to the shower you can keep this indoors or send mixed groups out into town. Mix up guests so they are working with people they have not met or do not know well and they will get to know each other as they race against other teams.
If you want something even more wild and have a good group of guests you know most of which are up for anything, how about pole dancing! Either have the group go to a dance studio or invite an instructor to the house where you can all learn some moves and be highly entertained by each other.
